Mt. Juliet Domestic Assault Vandalism Charges Dismissed

As a result of a contentious divorce, our female client (wife) was charged with two counts of domestic assault (one in Davidson County and one in Wilson County), vandalism, and violation of conditional release. While the alleged victim (husband) was highly aggressive in pursing the allegations with the district attorney general, our client steadfastly held that she was completely innocent of all the charges. The case was set for three separate jury trials and, believing in our client, we refused to give in and enter a plea in exchange for no jail time. Extensive motions were filed and the case readied for trial. Seven days before the trial, the state agreed to retire all pending cases in Wilson County and the domestic assault in Davidson County was already dismissed. Out of four charges by her former spouse, zero convictions resulted.
