Aggravated Domestic Assault – Sumner County

Client was charged with Aggravated Domestic Assault in Sumner County, Tennessee. An agreement was reached to lower the charge to domestic assault and to submit to a bench trial in General Sessions Court. After a lot of hard work and preparation by myself, my associate attorneys, investigators and paralegals, the trial occurred in the Sumner County General Sessions Court. The State of Tennessee put its proof on with two witnesses. For the defense, I called the responding officer and the defendant. After an all afternoon trial, the verdict of not guilty was entered. This was a great relief to my client and a celebration of the rights of the innocent in our judicial system.
