Violation: Attempt to Possess Xanax, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Firearm
Result: Probation; Clean Record due to Judicial Diversion
Client was 22 year old engineering student charged with attempt to possess Xanax in the amount of 2000 pill, possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony. As a result of impending trial, investigation of the facts, and the obtaining of discovery an agreement was reached. My client plead guilty to an agreed charge, but received probation. Most importantly, the plea was entered pursuant to judicial diversion, allowing the young man to have a clean record without a criminal conviction upon graduation from engineering school.
