Violation: Aggravated Burglary
Result: Reduced plea with no jail time
Client was charged with Aggravated Burglary in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.
Client and others were searching for an individual who had run a friend off the road. In searching, he and others arrived at his grandmother’s home in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. One individual entered the grandmother’s home with a ball bat, placing her in fear. Our client was on the premises, but remained outside. After an extensive preliminary hearing and review by the grand jury, we were able to obtain a dismissal of the aggravated burglary charge and a reduced plea to criminal trespass, a misdemeanor with no jail time.
