Client charged with illegal possession of Gabapentin and possession of Methamphetamine. Methamphetamine carries a mandatory 30 days, day for day and up to 11 months and 29 days in jail.
After a number of drug screens, proving she had a prescription for Gabapentin and medical records supporting a story of how the Methamphetamine wasn’t hers, it was agreed for all of her cases to be dismissed upon a showing of completion of an Alcohol and Drug assessment. Great result, no jail time or probation.
